Description
Today, Pitcho is best known as an actor, writer, comedian and stage manager who is very active in the Flemish theater KVS, but he is also co-creator and artistic director of the hip hop structure Skinfama. For those who don’t know: Pitcho is an emblematic and historic figure in the Made in BXL rap scene of the ’90s, with fans in Flanders and France, which was quite rare at the time. At the age of 17, he formed his first collective, Onde de Choc. He went on to make a name for himself in rap battles, culminating in victory at the ’98 Freestyle Battle at the Beursschouwburg.
In 2003, Pitcho released his first solo album Regarde Comment! 20 years later, he returns to the forefront of the hip hop scene to perform it in its entirety at the ABClub. For this unique concert, he will be releasing a limited edition vinyl version. It’s a tribute to all those who, in one way or another, have helped him become the man he is today.
The reissue of Regarde Comment! is the story of Pitcho. A multi-disciplinary artist who returns to a past where every opportunity was a chance to surprise himself and push back his own limits.
