“Hometapes #3” is the first album of the Brussels-based artist and guitarist, Diego Leyder. For more than a decade, Diego has been shaping the sound and dynamic of the acclaimed rock combo, BRNS. And in parallel, he has developed various musical projects with Dièze and Fondry, proposing a more experimental approach in his music.
After the two self-produced EPs released digitally in 2016 and 2018, “Hometapes #3” is Dièze’s first album and is released in a very limited cassette edition by dear.deer.records and Figures Libres.
On this collection of tracks, Dièze paints adventurous, melodic and impressionist soundscapes, experimenting the full potential of his guitar, exploring the twists and turns of delicate arpeggios, juggling with roguish polyrhythmic tricks as well as the infinite possibilities of his effect pedals.
